Ingredients

  • cups flour all purpose
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 12 tbsp cold butter
  • ¾ cup buttermilk + 2 tbsp to coat
  • ¾ cup white chocolate chips
  • 1 cup blackberries fresh

Instructions

  • Mix together your dry ingredients of flour, baking powder and sugar.
  • With a cheese grater, grate your cold butter and mix into dry ingredients with your hands until it reaches a mealy texture. Add in your egg, cream & buttermilk, then fold in your blackberries + chocolate chips until combined.
  • Spread into a circle onto a baking sheet and cut into serving sizes. Coat in heavy cream with baking brush and bake at 350℉ for 15-20 minutes or until lightly golden browned.
  • I like to drizzle mine with a glazed frosting (mix 5 tbsp powdered sugar w 1 tbsp water — adjust for desired consistency)
